Description Description Euphorbia myrsinites (Myrtle spurge or broad-leaved glaucous spurge) is a low-growing, evergreen succulent shrub native to the Mediterranean region which quite literally crawls over the ground. It has a spreading, mat-forming habit and grows up to 20cm high and 50cm wide. The stems spiral, and if you look straight on to them it is almost as if you are looking into a whirlpool. The leaves are oval-shaped and have a waxy texture. The flowers are small and yellow-green in colour, and they appear in clusters at the tips of the stems.
