Hawthorn-Crataegus Monogyna is supplied by Hedge Xpress with good coverage up to 125-150cm in a 7.5 litre pot. It has leads high above this. This allows a hedge to form quickly once established providing a good, thorny deterrent for intruders. They should be planted 65cm apart from one another and when planting a double hedge you should offset one of the lines planting between the two transplants approximately 40cm off from the original line.
