Bred in Switzerland to optimise space and to not be as unruly as its Cherry laurel conterpart.  Prunus ‘Genolia’ is upright and narrow with glossy green foilage. Prunus ‘Genolia’ thrives in full sun to partial shade and can tollerate full shade, though it wont be as happy. It adapts well to a variety of soil types as long as they are well-drained.
