Description Bergenia ‘Spring Fling’ is a bold pig squeak with very attractive clusters of magenta-pink spring flowers on tall red stems that rise well above its thick rosettes of shiny dark green leaves. The two foot tall branched flower stems are so numerous and floriferous that you’ll lose sight of the foliage when in bloom. The evergreen leaves are dark green with lighter green reverses in spring and summer turning purple-black in the fall and winter. Use as a focal point or ground cover cascading over a retaining wall or slope or mix with other foliage types in the shady garden for textural contrast. Pollinator attractor. Deer and rabbit resistant.
