For a 3′ high fence, we would recommend using 5′ x 3″ x 3″ posts (allow one post every 6′, plus one at the end) and two rails (12′ x 3.5″ x 1.5″) to run horizontally the length of the fence. For a one inch gap, allow 3 palings per foot, each paling being 3″ w x 3/4″ d. The 3′ pointed topped pales are out of stock until September. We do have stock of the 4′ pointed pales.
