Description Dahlia Mystic Allure displays eye-popping bi-coloured hot cherry-pink flowers with bold magenta stripes around dark central discs atop dark burgundy foliage from early summer to frost on plants 30 inches tall and 20 inches wide with strong stems that do not require staking. The Mystic series is bred for the contemporary gardens of today with deeply dissected dark mahogany to black foliage and vivid blooms in suburb colours producing masses of single flowers for months on end in garden or container. Also excellent as cut flowers. Dahlia are hardy to coastal BC’s winter temperatures but not to winter wet. Protect from rain in free-draining soils, plant in pots that can be moved and protected, or lift and store in a cool, dry, frost free location. Pollinator attractor. Moderately deer resistant.
