Description Agapanthus africanus Midnight Sky is an evergreen lily-of-the-Nile with intense dark purple-blue flowers. It belongs to the Everpanthus series bred for bold colours and an extremely long period of bloom and rebloom. Stems can reach 32 inches high. Lily-of-the-Nile are gorgeous, subtropical-looking, long-blooming plants. They thrives in full sun and fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Awesome in the perennial border, grown in swaths, and in containers (where many gardeners find Agapanthus easier to bloom). A great cut flower. Mulch each winter with fallen leaves or protect above freezing in its pot. Hummingbird and bee attractor. Deer resistant. Cultivar name: ‘Dwaghyb01’.
