Description Agapanthus ‘Black Magic’ is a luscious, hardy, deciduous lily-of-the-Nile with nearly black flowers. The tubular blooms, of which some are pendulous suggesting A. inapertus in the breeding, are a rich purple black that in some light will appear as completely black. The rich green, strap like foliage is herbaceous. Mulch each winter with fallen leaves.
